Up With The Roosters is a short film about artist, Hope Sandrow. Hope Sandrow is a woman who has now established a complete art installation based around her chickens in her backyard nearby the historic home of 'plein air' painter William Merritt Chase in Shinnecock Hills, Southampton. She focuses on engaging the world by using global technology and representing it through nature that is beyond the boundaries of her backyard.This documentary follows Hope’s effect on the community with her art, but also the lives of all her chickens that have become her beloved family.
